1979 Lincoln Continental ''Collector's Series'' Sedan This well documented 1979 Lincoln Continental ''Collector's Series'' sedan was purchased on October 10th, 1979 by Stafford's of Montgomery IL and sold by Fran Kral Lincoln Mercury of Rockford IL. According to the documentation, it was sold as a DEMO with 3,919 miles and had a MSRP of $17,091.00. Included in the documentation are: Original Owner's manual, Build Sheet, Production sheets, Title doc's, RUSTY JONES warranty certificate, and the ''Marti Report''. Two hard to find items are the Lincoln garage door operator, and tool kit in the original box! The following are just a few highlights: 5.8L V-8 400ci, C-6 automatic transmission, Vinyl roof, Air conditioner, Collector Series, and much more!!! The following are some of the service work: 2025- New shocks front and rear, Master cylinder and brake fluid flush, Serviced and greased. 2023- New Whitewall tires. 2021- New A/c compressor and R134 conversion. This 47- year old Lincoln Town Car is in well preserved original condition with documentation. It appears to have original paint and interior and both are in excellent condition. The underside shows a bit of surface rust, but it is minimal. This is a true 70's luxury car with the classy white on white exterior, and a contrasting blue cloth interior that has been well preserved and is an excellent example.
